I never take time to play on forums or upload photos. But I love relic radio and want Jim's endeavors to be a great success. I've put a few images of my favorite birds in the photos section. We need to get this forum active and invite all those other weird people we know that love this stuff (at least hubby tells me I am weird for liking it).
Yeah, my wife doesn't really understand my interest in OTR either. But I know a couple people I can try to talk into coming to this.
I like the idea of being involved in the other relic radio forums, but it's too hard to keep up with new posts there. I think this would make a better forum in general. Hope it works!

Well we can certainly give it a try. I had actually played with this before setting up the forum but decided against if for some reason.
The forum is more structured than this site needs to be. I was thinking of a more "water cooler" kind of use for this site where everyone can talk about other interests as well as OTR. Plus I have this thing about playing with technology/websites. Sometimes I sign up for stuff I don't have a need for....yet!

Yeah, Pat.
Most of my siblings in my family don't understand my infatuation with OTR, either.
I wonder why?
Probably because half of my iTunes library (total: 2500 "songs") is actually OTR.
(And I'm in the process of cataloging it ALL!)
Hey, that brings up a question- What do you guys use to catalog your OTR? I have a couple hundred disks full of stuff, and what I had done in the past was import each disk into itunes, export the list, and convert it into a SQL database table. From there I could post it up online and search for whatever show I was in the mood for and know what disk it was on.
I've since given that up because it's too hard to maintain. Is there any decent software for searching your collection?

You could check out the database program on this page...but it looks like it might be a bit old.
Sure seems like itunes would work for this somehow. If you create a playlist from a cd then eject the cd, will the playlist remain with the media gone? If so, you could make a playlist for each cd (or genre) and use the itunes search function. Don't know how many playlists itunes can handle though.
I haven't actually tried any of that...just throwing out ideas. Thinking it might be easier to maintain a playlist through itunes (or any playlist manager) as opposed to a database.
