It struck me as odd when I found a government agency on Flickr, but The Library Of Congress has been posting photos from its archives on that website. There's a set of color photos from the 1930's and 1940's, and tons of news, sports, and other interesting shots from 1910-1915. Many are from the Bain News Service, which was the first news photography service, founded in 1898. I'll post some of the more interesting pics in the photo section of this site. I was poking around iTunes today and noticed a new podcast of "The Shadow." Someone had left a comment on that podcasts page remarking how hard it was to find episodes of The Shadow, or OTR podcasts that feature it. It is hard but there is a reason for that. It's still under copyright.
