Library Of Congress on Flickr
It struck me as odd when I found a government agency on Flickr, but The Library Of Congress has been posting photos from its archives on that website. There's a set of color photos from the 1930's and 1940's, and tons of news, sports, and other interesting shots from 1910-1915. Many are from the Bain News Service, which was the first news photography service, founded in 1898.
I'll post some of the more interesting pics in the photo section of this site. There are thousands of pics posted, and I found myself killing quite a bit of time peering into the past there. Here's the link to the flickr site.
